We have added a third building, which more than doubles our paint shop capacity. This new 96-foot by 150-foot building will be a state-of-the-art paint shop, with a 10-ton overhead crane, ventilation, and heating. Overall, this new building will allow us to complete larger projects and turn jobs around faster and more efficiently.
A special note here: All our shops are completely enclosed. This removes hinderance that some competitors have who blast and paint in open-air settings, sometimes working just under a roof. With completely enclosed blasting and painting shops, we are able to minimize environmental issues such as moisture, temperature or dust to impair the coatings process or delay a job.
CIP Industrial Shop Painting Capabilities
Our shop painting service handles industrial abrasive blasting and industrial coatings for any size project. From fabricated steel, utility poles, fabricated tanks and vessels, to any other metal requiring sandblasting and protective coatings
Our Shelbyville shops are fully equipped to deliver. We are a family business with a large team of skilled employees (not hired labor), providing an unmatched level of quality and professionalism on every project.
Industrial coatings are specialized formulas applied to surfaces to protect against corrosion, wear, and extreme environments. CIP applies all of the following coating types in our shop.
Exceptional adhesion, hardness, and chemical resistance. Used as a protective base primer or for heavy-duty industrial flooring.
Outstanding flexibility, gloss retention, and impact resistance. Applied as a tough, weather-resistant topcoat on heavy machinery and outdoor structures.
High concentrations of zinc dust for galvanic and barrier protection on steel surfaces against severe marine or industrial corrosion.
High-performance hybrid with excellent heat and weather stability — ideal for bridges, marine structures, and tanks.
Formulated from modified polyester resins, easy to apply, good durability for general-purpose structural steel.
Super-fast curing hybrid of polyurea and polyurethane — prized for commercial flooring, cures quickly even in cold temperatures.
